Banking Associate - Carlisle
Banking Associate may not sound like the perfect fit when your CV is full of experience. But this is Virgin. The role is what you make it. Customers are everything to us and we take the service we deliver to them very seriously. (We don't just let any young whipper snapper do it).
We’re looking for smart, fearless and confident people to join our Store team in Carlisle. It’s our job to make a lasting first (second and third) impression. We’re the friendly front line, meeting face-to-face with customers and exceeding their expectations every time. We’ve got the cape. Are you ready to wear it?
Carve out a career
This isn’t a stop-gap. It’s designed to be the start of a meaningful career. We’ll give you a head full of knowledge and a CV full of skills. Plus all the tools you need to wow our customers. You’ll just need to bring bags of energy and enthusiasm. That’s essential.
The buzz of banking
No two days are the same. You could be helping a customer with a banking transaction, promoting one of our products, talking through a quote or answering a tricky question. It’s a well-regulated, dynamic and ever-changing environment. This means we take the time to train you to do a brilliant job from the start, with ongoing coaching and development as you progress.
Bring your difference to make a difference
We’re all different. Our diversity is the one thing we have in common! If you share our purpose of making Everyone Better Off, you can be yourself at Virgin Money. And when you can truly be yourself at work, you can focus on realising your potential that’s what will really make a difference and make us all better off.
RED HOT rewards
Salaries range from £18,000 a year pro rata, depending on your experience, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. We’ve a host of amazing benefits, from the key stuff like our pension, private health cover and life assurance to the cool stuff like your shiny red Virgin Tribe discount card. If 27 days of annual leave is not enough, you can purchase additional days through our flexible benefits scheme. Other flexible benefits include our cycle to work scheme and we offer discounted travel to work through our corporate travel pass scheme.
In our quest to make everyone better off, all colleagues are given two volunteering days each year and if you feel like running the London Marathon in support of our charity of the year, you only need to ask.
