Banking Administrator - Job Overview

In this role you will be the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries to the business from both potential and existing customers. You will be responsible for handling these enquiries, providing customers with additional information as required and escalating queries to other departments where necessary.

Duties will include;

  • Setting up customer accounts and payments
  • Investigate discrepancies within customer accounts
  • Ensuring customer details are kept up to date on the central database
  • Producing customer statements and generating reports (Microsoft Excel)
  • General administrative duties

Banking Administrator - Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous office based experience in a customer service or administrative role
  • Confident user of Excel for recording information and producing reports
  • Confident formatting Excel documents
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong telephone communication skills
  • Office based administrative and customer service experience

Banking Administrator - Benefits Offered

  • Salary: £17,000 - £21,000 (depending on experience)
  • 26 days’ holiday + bank holidays
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.00
  • Company pensions (10% employer contribution)
