We are currently looking for dynamic individuals to join our Main Reception Switchboard which is part of the Estates and Facilities team, as a Bank Telephonist. You should have excellent customer service skills, be a great team player, be able to multi-task and prioritise and haveexperience of working within a contact centre or reception desk.
You must be able to be flexible with working hours as there will be a variety of shifts including days and nights to be covered.
We are looking for people who are happy to use their initiative and have great communication skills. The role involves answering calls to the Trust's busy main telephone number as well as dealing with emergency requests such as bleeping key hospital staff to alert them. You may also spend some of your working day working on the front desk, looking after visitors to the Trust and dealing with their requirements.
The switchboard is staffed 24 hours, 7 days a week.
This role is an ad hoc position with no guaranteed hours.
