Group Head of Finance Change - Challenger Bank - London

The client:

An exciting Challenger Bank based in London, our client is going through a lot of change and launching new product lines as the business expands quickly.

The role:

This sits in the Group function delivering on Bank Wide Financial Reporting change and driving project requirements.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Group function with the Implementation of a robust Financial Controls environment
  • Extensive process review and setup to deliver necessary changes relating to Financial Accounting changes
  • Business Partnering with Senior leadership teams and Finance leaders in respective business units to ensure efficient delivery of Bank projects
  • Drive extensive change to Finance systems and workstreams supporting Regulatory Reporting (FINREP and COREP)
  • Support the setup of Treasury
  • Work closely with Project teams throughout implementation
  • Liaise with External Auditors

What you need:

  • Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (ideally 7+ Years Post Qualified)
  • Extensive Financial Services experience (ideally Banking)
  • Strong Technical grounding covering Financial Reporting (IFRS and Reg Reporting - specifically FINREP and COREP)
  • Experience driving major Finance change projects
  • Extensive exposure to Senior Leadership teams
  • Excellent communicator
  • Understanding of best practice regarding processes and business change
  • Excellent Communicator with proven Senior stakeholder engagement experience

Duration: 9 months

Rate: Up to £700 per day
