A vacancy has a arisen within the Facilities team for an enthusiastic and conscientious individual to assist in supporting the team, particularly with the accommodation and waste management departments.
The individual should also have good communication skills and be used to dealing members of the public and Staff at all levels of the organization. This role will involve assisting the Waste co-ordinator completing departmental waste audits, completing actions identified in the waste audits. Assist with furniture moves across the Trust. Remove unwanted furniture/bulky items from the building and dispose of appropriately using manual handling equipment where appropriate.
This role will also involve cleaning the hospital's off-site accommodation, completing inventories to ensure each property is fully equipped, and checking the condition of the property. Minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs would also be required.
