Our exclusive client based in Chorley are currently recruiting for a Bank Account Administrator to join their cashiering department. The business has grown rapidly over the past year and have increased their head count in the finance team by 50% due to the extra workload.
This service industry client plan to continue this growth into 2020 and due to this, require an extra person.
Duties of the role include:
- Opening and closing bank accounts
- Post cash to ledger on time and accurately
- Extract statements from banking platforms
- Bank reconciliations daily
- Input BACS/CHAPS instructions to banking platforms
- Ensure all statements are filed correctly
- Liaise with internal and external customers
To be considered for this role, you need to be organised, methodical and have an eye for detail. You must have good communication skills in both written and verbal and be a good team player. Excel will be used on a daily basis so previous experience would be beneficial.
This role would suit someone who has been an administrator or someone with accounts experience though training will be given. The fulltime hours are 37.5 per week, however the client has said they will consider someone who wishes to work reduced hours (30 hours per week over 5 days) Other benefits include good holidays, on site parking, pension and yearly bonus.
