Clinical Specialist OT - ARCCS
The ARCCS (Acute Respiratory Critical Care & Surgery), Therapy team at Queens Hospital and King George’s continues is seeking to employ a dynamic and motivated Clinical Specialist OT secondary to the promotion of the current staff member. We are now looking for a member of staff to contribute to the growth and development of our therapy profile across the Trust. We are looking for an individual who is forward thinking and will be integral in contributing to the future shape of the service at BHRUT.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior OT with experience of working in a busy, acute healthcare environment. This post will not only afford the individual the opportunity to continue to develop knowledge and skills in their specialism but also to their leadership and operational management skills necessary to co-lead a therapy service.
You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team who pride themselves in providing high quality services underpinned by evidence base within a busy acute environment across respiratory, critical care and surgical wards.
The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills, be a good team player and have the ability to work under reasonable pressure within a multi-professional environment. You must also possess the desire and ability to help influence and promote change that will lead to advancement in patient care in line with the Trust’s aims and vision.
You will be required to contribute the development of competencies, teaching and CPD.
Essential criteria for the post are:
- Degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy with H.C.P.C. Registration
- Broad clinical experience
