Band 7 Digital Data Projects Lead Officer

NHS Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (Somerset CCG) is looking to recruit a Band 7 Digital Data Projects Lead Officer to join the Digital Team, which are part of the Operations directorate.

The ideal candidate will join at an exciting time for the Digital Team, when the need for Primary Care Data Analytics and data-led projects form a developing part of the Digital First approach. We are looking for an experienced candidate who is passionate about data and analytics, applying evidence to new ways of working, supporting new projects and working as part of an emerging population health management strategy. The role will focus on supporting and optimising use of data in the primary care setting, liaising with General Practices and Primary Care Networks across Somerset. You will work alongside an experienced core Digital Team, and as part of the Operations Directorate, work alongside CCG, SCW CSU and wider system colleagues.

You will have excellent organisational skills and a sound, working knowledge of data analytics, data presentation and MS office packages, alongside good communication skills both written and face-to-face (in person or virtually).

This post is based at NHS Somerset CCG HQ - Wynford House, Lufton Way, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8HR, with home working. However, elements of the role may require you to travel to other locations across the county of Somerset to meet the needs of the service.

This is permanent, full time post of up to 37.5 hours per week. Job share and Secondment opportunities will be considered.
