Are you a Band 6 Occupational Therapist looking for a full time locum position based In East London ?

We are looking for two Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in a Rapid Response Therapy Team. The Rapid Response Therapy Team is based in the Elderly Short Stay Unit, Elderly and Medical Receiving Unit and Emergency Department. The team is an integrated service with Occupational Therapy, with staff working to develop an enhanced therapy role. The team sits alongside the Medical Speciality wards including Renal, Endocrine, Gastroenterology and Oncology and the Cardio-Respiratory wards; therefore a flexible approach is essential as they will also support other areas when required within the wider Medical Team to meet service demands.

Focus on early assessment and discharge planning with rapid and robust decision-making is essential for the role. Staff need to be familiar with the assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical, cognitive and psychological health conditions within elderly and medical specialties in order to develop and deliver treatment and discharge plans.

The post is 37.5hours per week, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for someone to start on Monday 8th January 2018

Grade: Band 6

Pay: £25.00 per hour

Location: West Yorkshire

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
