We are looking for experienced orthopaedic nurse in our theatre department either scrub or anaesthetic trained .
As a Centre of Excellence, we deliver 5200 operations a year, of which 3000 are joints, mainly hip and knee replacements. SWLEOC is recognised as the largest joint replacement centre in the UK, and one of the largest in Europe. Other sub-specialities include soft tissue/sports injuries, foot and ankle, shoulders and spines.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the regions most experienced orthopaedic consultants, covering a varied and diverse caseload. In house training is available to allow you to broaden your experience and support professional development. SWLEOC is a very successful profit making organisation, with four partnership Trusts. In 2018/19, we made £1.7 million profit, and for 2019/20, our target is £2.5 million.
