Band 6 Health Visitor - Healthy Child Programme - Kettering

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Health Visitor to fill a full time role in Kettering.

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Health Visitor job is £23 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 1 month contract due to start ASAP.

This team provides the Healthy Child Programme, a planned series of public health interventions for children and families from birth to age 19. The central purposes are health promotion, health protection, prevention of ill health or accident and early intervention.

This role will require you to promote good health and prevent ill health in children, families and communities. Health Visitors do this through raising awareness of and identifying unmet health needs, and initiating, developing, implementing and evaluating plans of care.

Requirements of the Band 6 Health Visitor role:

- You must be a Registered Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have a Specialist Community Public Health Qualification
- You must have knowledge of the Healthy Child Programme
- You must be a car driver with access to your own vehicle
