The Mental Health Triage Team is based within an Emergency Department. The role involves seeing people who arrive at the ED who present with mental health problems.
You would be contacted by the hospital staff to go to the ED and assess the patient within an hour of referral. The possible outcomes following the assessment could be; discharge back to the GP, refer to CRT or admit to hospital either informally or following an assessment under the Mental Health Act.
This service covers 7 days a week, and the shift times available to cover are 8am-4pm and 9.45pm-8.15am.
Rate of pay will be £22 per hour (Umbrella Rate) for day shifts, rising to £27 per hour (Umbrella Rate) for night shifts.
To be considered you MUST have Rio training and excellent assessment skills.
