Position: Therapy Assistant

Location: NHS Inpatient Unit

Salary Band: 3

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Contract Dates: 16/10/2024 - 16/01/2025

Pay Rates: £10 - £12

Pay Mechanism: Direct Pay

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist therapists in delivering care to patients in an acute inpatient setting.
  • Support patients in respiratory and surgical rehabilitation activities.
  • Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patient care.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an acute NHS inpatient environment is essential.
  • Experience in respiratory and surgical therapy is preferable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
