Up and coming FinTech client is searching for a Back-End Node.js Developer to join their Development team. As a Back-End Node.JS Developer, you will be working on multiple projects involving Blockchain. This will include the Back-End Node.js Developer working alongside the Front-End Developers in order to build APIs for their web and mobile interfaces.

Key Responsibilities for this Back-End Node.js Developer are:

  • Developing cutting-edge solutions for clients
  • Speaking to clients to understand their requirements and concepts
  • Developing smart contracts
  • Designing and creating large, high volume systems
  • Writing automated test scripts for server-side code and smart contracts

This Back-End Node.js Developer must have at least 5 years’ commercial experience working with back-end development, as well as:

  • Node.JS (2 years +)
  • API implementations and design experience
  • Writing automated tests
  • Using databases such as SQL, NoSQL, MySQL, Postgres and Redis
  • Understanding of Linux
  • Knowledge and exposure to Git

Advantageous skills for the Back-End Node.js Developer to have are:

  • Blockchain experience
  • Knowledge of ES6+ or ES2015+
  • API development and best practices experience
  • Used Jest, Mocha, Chai, Should.JS and Enzyme testing frameworks
  • Docker experience
  • AWS or Azure experience
