They currently supply services to the oil and gas industry, working with upstream operations both selling industry specific consultancy solutions as well as training services.
As the Marketing Manager, you will report to the company's leadership team and have one direct report, overseeing the company's marketing strategy, the creation, execution and measurement of campaigns as well as competitor research in order to ensure the company's brand positioning and key messaging is relevant, resonates and archives cut through with key target audiences..
The Marketing Manager position is aimed at someone who's coming from an execution background but is looking for the opportunity to step-up into a more autonomous remit. Taking ownership of a marketing programme and having the opportunity to devise the marketing strategy too.
Because of this it's important you are familiar with how to work with market, competitor and customer data; leveraging research insight and identifying opportunities as well as trends which inform and direct your marketing strategy.
There will be an international aspect to this role. The business is looking to expand its offering to emerging territories and so will require you to devise appropriate marketing strategies to ensure this is achieved successfully.
The marketing programme you will oversee will principally be focused on lead generation activity achieved through the delivery of multi-channel campaigns. Sitting alongside you will be a sales function, and you will be continuously looking to refine the targeting, messaging and channel strategies in order to support the achievement of conversion targets.

Role: B2B Marketing Manager
Location: Kent - Tonbridge/Tunbridge Wells
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

- B2B marketing pedigree, with preference to someone who has experience in marketing campaigns/lead generation marketing programmes
- Industry agnostic - so can be from Tech, banking, telcos, utility firms or any other relevant industries
- Comfortable devising and delivering against a marketing strategy
- Great understanding of how to leverage research data, using it to inform marketing and market entry strategies
- Comfortable pitching ideas and strategies to senior execs
- Charismatic personality, great with engaging with people, selling in ideas to stakeholders and getting them behind your marketing vision
- Any experience in international marketing will be highly beneficial
- Must have the necessary visas/right to live and work in the UK.
