B2B Marketing Manager - Digital Specialist - Job Summary

This role will suit a B2B marketer ready for a new challenge in a hands-on, fast-paced role. You’ll be empowered to make a significant impact on demand generation by working with the wider team to plan and execute omni-channel marketing campaigns that drive engagement, lead generation and sales throughout the full funnel.

B2B Marketing Manager - Digital Specialist - Role Responsibility

  • Work with the marketing and wider commercial teams to plan and deliver acquisition, retention, cross-sell, and upsell campaigns across multiple channels (owned, paid, and earned)
  • Work closely with Sales, Account Management, Product Innovation, in-house creative and digital development teams and external agencies to develop and deliver successful, results-focused marketing initiatives
  • Plan and implement highly effective email and marketing automation programmes through Salesforce and Watson Campaign Engagement
  • Slice, dice, and analyze data to create a segmented approach to drive engagement across multiple audiences and buyer personas
  • Facilitate the development of multi-channel thought leadership content - case studies, blogs, guides, research, webinars, video and events
  • Work with sales teams on Account Based Marketing initiatives
  • Support the sales and account management teams by providing innovative, digital sales content, including brochures, presentations and any other marketing support required to support an interactive, consultative selling approach
  • Continually test, measure and report campaign and programme performance and evolve actions based on learning

B2B Marketing Manager - Digital Specialist - The Ideal Candidate

  • Good understanding of marketing strategy and keen digital awareness, tech-savvy
  • Experience delivering engagement and lead generation across multiple channels, including email, automation, search, social, PR, and paid media
  • Marketing-related degree or similar qualification preferred
  • Highly organised with an ability to plan and juggle several projects and tasks at same time, self-motivated and capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to develop campaign messages and propositions is a must, including a demonstrable high standard of copywriting, with an excellent ability for storytelling, structure, spelling, grammar, and understanding of style, tone of voice and audience
  • Experience using CRM, data and email marketing/automation systems. Salesforce and Watson Campaign Engagement useful, but not essential, but understanding of CRM, email and marketing automation programmes is important
  • Analytical and always looking at insight that will drive and improve performance
  • Great eye for brand and design
  • Basic to intermediate HTML will be required
  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Someone looking to continually, learn, develop and improve
  • Above all, a real positive can-do attitude.
