We are looking for a B2B Key Account Manager join a global energy consultancy in their expanding client management team. You will be bright and dynamic ideally with 5+ years’ experience within the Energy Sector ideally in the Third-Party Intermediary / TPI space although experience within a similar role with a Supplier will be considered. You will manage the client relationship and service delivery for your portfolio of clients, as well as upselling add on services. Key responsibilities:

  • Offering full-service support to high profile, Industrial & Commercial clients
  • Client liaison, feeding back solutions to meet their energy and sustainability management needs
  • Attending regular business meetings, focus on upselling services to client base, client retention
  • Ensuring smooth, efficient and on-time service delivery
  • Handling and processing contract renewals
  • Presenting additional value-added opportunities to clients
  • Reviewing energy and sustainability strategies for the coming year
  • Informing clients about their options regarding energy usage and sustainability
  • Developing and implementing energy procurement
  • Managing international service projects and co-ordination of service delivery

Skills and experience required:

  • Track record in the energy sector in a client facing role, and passionate about providing great client service
  • A commercial/business orientated mind-set is ideal
  • Experience of risk managed flexible procurement, non-commodity charges, bureau services
  • Friendly, logical and accommodating, enthusiastic and persuasive
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and customer skills
  • Enjoys working with data to identify where patterns emerge
  • Ability to accurately analyse sustainability and efficiency ROI business cases
  • Highly numerate
  • Must hold a clean UK driving license
