Role: B2B Account Manager (SME TPI - Retail Energy)

Location: Manchester

Do you have experience in B2B Account Management? And if you have also worked in the retail Energy industry - even better!! A UK retail Energy supplier are looking for a B2B Account Manager to join their expanding team based in Manchester. The successful B2B Account manager will be responsible for building relationships with energy brokers (TPIs) and negotiating contracts for the sale of Power and Gas to the SME market. So, if you have a proven ability to grow a portfolio of accounts, the B2B Account Manager could be the one for you!!

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales through efficient issuing of energy procurement pricing and contracts
  • Build relationships with existing and new Brokers to maximise sales
  • Negotiate prices to maximise growth and profit levels
  • Support the SME Sales Teams to expand their portfolio of customers
  • Work with internal stakeholders to enhance the company reputation for providing first class customer service
  • Promote the company brand both internally and externally
  • Deliver against targets

Experience:

  • Ideally a detailed understanding of the UK Gas and Electricity SME Market
  • Ideally face to face meeting skills
  • Ideally knowledge of the UK gas and/or power industry (ideally B2B)
  • Ideally previous experience of building key relationships (TPI/Brokers)
  • Demonstrable experience in an Account management / Sales positions
  • Ability to work to sales and business targets
