Azure Implementation Engineer, £55k - £60k, North Cheshire
As the lead in our Azure implementation you will be involved in a large scale implementation as well as Infrastructure led projects requiring you to migrate existing workloads, building, running, or securing applications in the cloud, providing technical input and direction and to ultimately work through technically complex Infrastructure changes ensuring they are delivered on time and in budget.
Excellent knowledge of Azure as well as developing infrastructure in Azure using the Portal, Powershell and ARM Templates
Visual Studio, DSC, Azure Application services
Good understanding of VNETS in Azure together with network security
Strong Automation skills through tools like PowerShell and ARM scripts
Backup Technologies such as Netbackup / Veeam and Azure backup services
Working knowledge of networking and basic concepts of security techniques
Familiarity with change control and related disciplines
Ability to develop, test and maintain programming environments and architectural standards
Proficient in developing automation mechanisms for continuous build and integration activities
Has a sound, broad knowledge of IT and an excellent understanding of how the use of cloud relates to other areas of IT and how it impacts on other business functions
Should be experienced in continual deployments
Should have good knowledge of user identity management with in Azure and Office 365 - Should have experience with windows domain components (Domain controllers, domain DNS, DHCP, etc.)
