Azure Data Engineer

A brand new role has arisen for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with some knowledge of Azure technology including Azure Data Lake to join one of the most recognisable charities in the UK. We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer to lead the way on Data Engineering within the charity so any experience in Azure tools, Python, Data lakes or more would be great. You must have the ability to code using Python and just a keen passion for all things cloud based.

The Azure Data Engineer will be part of a charity going through a huge data transformation currently and need someone who is going to take the lead on all the technical development needed to do this project. They are in the process of shifting their focus from traditional database development into cloud based so any experience in this process will be hugely beneficial.

As the Azure Data Engineer you will benefit from a really strong work life balance, including a 35 hour working week, flexible working and a strong emphasis on training and development.

Skills required for the Azure Data Engineer are:

- Strong technical skills across all aspects of data engineering Big Data, Data Science and various cloud technologies
- Experience of Azure technology including Azure Data Lake
- Brilliant Python coding skills, star schemas, snowflake and more
- A strong eagerness to learn and develop your career further

Data Engineer / BI Developer / Azure / Database Developer / Data Warehouse Developer

Salary: £52,000 - £53,000

Location: Remote across the UK
