Chapman Tate Associates is recruiting for a AWS/DevOps Engineer to join an expanding software business in the social sector. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong Linux/Cloud Administrator background with experience in deploying in an AWS environment to further their career.

You’ll have strong communication skills as you’ll be conversing with the development team and other business groups to successfully improve the functionality, scalability, security and overall performance of systems.

Your techsavvy approach will help develop and maintain a variety of infrastructure components, such as applications, databases and systems. In addition to this, you’ll use the appropriate tools for automated builds and deployments.

Any experience with CI/CD, testing and deployment will strongly support your application.

Essential Technologies:

  • Operating Systems: Redhat, CentOSetc.
  • Virtualisation: KVM, Vmware
  • Networking: Cisco, Firewalls
  • Configuration Management: Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Salt
  • Scripting/ Programming: JavaScript, Python, PHP, Ruby
  • Monitoring tools: Nagios, Munin, Cacti, ELK, Graphite
  • AWS: EC2, S3, EBS, ELB. SQS, Route53
