Title; AWS Cloud Systems Engineer (CSE) FAST TRACK TRAINING PROGRAMME
Location; Leicestershire or London (completely remote currently, and partial remote working after apocalypse)
Salary; £30-50k, up to £55k for London
You’ve always been obsessed with efficiencies.
It’s one of the main reasons you got into tech in the first place; GET ROBOTS TO DO STUFF YOU DON’T WANT TO DO!
Coming from a development background, you know what the development lifecycle looks like, the problems you and your teammates have faced, and have had loads of ideas on how to improve the process.
You love doing everything from automating everything, to continuous delivery, to ensuring zero downtime for the platforms you take care of.
Hosting your technical estate in the cloud using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) just makes sense to you, from an efficiency point of view; why spend more money to host things that aren’t doing anything for you? Why should anyone have to click through a console to spin up another machine that’s fallen over, when your code can run and do it immediately for you?!
You don’t feel like you know EVERYTHING there is to know in your field and don’t think you’ll get the knowledge or experience you need to really get to where you want your career to go where you are now.
That’s where this role is AMAZING.
You’ll be put on a 6-week training programme with the company, where they’ll TEACH you all the skills you’re missing to be able to really flourish in this role, such as;
- Any areas of AWS you’ve not used thoroughly, like?ECS, Cloud Formation, and Serverless?Functions, etc
- Azure DevOps
- Integrating to multiple 3rd?party systems
- SRE Best Practices
If you want to step your career up a notch and work on enterprise-scale projects with the best tech around and all the support you could want, then look no further.
With copious amounts of lunch & learn sessions, tech meetups to attend with colleagues, friendly and intelligent people surrounding you and a fantastic, comprehensive training programme, this is your new home.
You’ll work hard, achieve loads, and have a right laugh doing it!
If this sounds like it’s up your street, give me a shout and we’ll get you home.
