A.V. Technical Events & Hire Manager
Surrey salary circa £33,000
One of Europe's pre eminent providers of integrated audio visual communication systems with a Commitment to excellence in engineering and technical support. Due to continued success and growth of the company are seeking to recruit a Hire and Events Manager who will be based at the customer Service Centre but also spend time at clients sites with be the Technical interface and play a lead role in technical specifications and provide project management of key events. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in AV Events with in-depth technical knowledge

"Provide Technical Specifications "

* To produce technical specifications and related costings
* To provide detailed Technical specifications against clients briefs
* To provide on- site technical support
* To work with the Hire and Events Manager to develop events concepts to clients
* Pro-active sourcing of technical products and services from suppliers
* Budget control of technical hire solutions - within agreed parameters
* Associated administration of technical hire solutions - from initial brief to handover
* Provide ad-hoc technical support/advice to hire clients, as requested
* Provide ad-hoc technical support to Hire Coordinator & Hire and Events Manager and other internal stakeholders
* Attendance of technical site surveys as required
* On-site project/technical management of live events
* Create compliant health and safety paperwork for technical events
* Pro-active in assessing and recommending new products, services or suppliers
* Working with H&E Manager to create & implement technical training for stakeholders
* To assist the Hire and Events Manager in management of technical supply chain
* To assist Hire and Events Manager in management of technical supply-chain
