Service Manager required for Main Dealer in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 DOE + OTE
Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8am - 1pm
Our client is looking for an Service Manager with a customer care focus as well as a strong technical knowledge that can pull a team together to make the department run efficiently. You should have the drive and leadership skills to push the department forward, implementing new ideas along the way. Candidates must have the ability to work effectively in what can be a high pressured environment, must be smart in appearance, determined and pro-active.
Friendly and professional, you’ll inspire your team to ensure that every customer’s experience of our Centre is exceptional.
Your duties will include:
Ensuring the effective daily operation of the department, including the Smart Repair, administrative and collection/delivery functions.
Identifying, and maximising upon, potential commercial opportunities.
Monitoring customer satisfaction, scores and feedback, to ensure that the department, and the wider business, consistently exceeds customers' expectations.
Allocating, monitoring, supporting and reviewing the achievement of performance targets - both your own, and those of your team members.
Leading relevant, structured and consistent team meetings, and business updates.
Contributing to the development, and maintenance, of robust plans, policies and procedures.
Assisting with forecasting and reporting the performance of the department.

You must have previous supervisory/managerial experience in the motor industry.
A full UK driving licence
