Overview:

Great opportunity for an Automotive Claims Advisor to join the fast-paced Service and Repairs team of a successful automotive company in Reading. This is a varied and busy role, providing quality customer service to advise on bookings and assess customer vehicle claims. Great company discounts offered in addition to competitive salary.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with customers and appointed garages regarding servicing, MOTs and repairs

  • Selecting garages to carry out work and agreeing cover for claims

  • Assessing garages diagnosis for repair work, ensuring labour and parts prices are reasonable

  • Regularly updating and advising customers on bookings and warranty issues

  • Resolving any issues or complaints as positively as possible

  • Maintaining a high standard of customer service

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience either within a garage or office environment

  • Good knowledge of vehicle parts

  • Any experience of vehicle warranty/insurance claims would be highly advantageous

  • Friendly and polite telephone manner

  • Confident computer skills and strong attention to detail

  • Able to work well under pressure
