Building new Identity Access platform for the biggest restaurant chain in UK

One of the biggest restaurant chains in Europe are going through a huge digital transformation and are bringing all their technology into the 21st century, rebuilding all their monolithic applications into Microservices hosted in AWS. We are looking for an Automation Tester to join the team

With this, we are setting up a new Scrum team to build a brand new Identity Access Management system from scratch. As part of this team, we are looking for an Automation Tester to come on board and take ownership of the testing function for this project.

As the Automation Tester, you will take care of all Test Strategies, end-to-end testing through to documentation and hand over. Testing will be very much at the API level meaning you will be involved in all manual API tests using POSTMAN and automating this using RestAssured. An amazing opportunity for an Automation Tester.

As Automation Tester, you will need experience in:

  • Backend/API testing in Java - this includes experience in building manual and automated API tests using POSTMAN and RestAssured
  • Building Test frameworks from scratch - using Selenium, Cucumber, BDD
  • Dealing with non-technical stakeholders
  • Creating test strategy

This is an opportunity to take complete ownership of a testing function of a brand new Identity project. Working with a very senior and talented team, you will be improving your own skills and increasing your ability and value as Automation Tester.
