Our Operations Data Delivery team are responsible for the delivery of research projects for each of the specialisms of the business, we perform a cross company function reporting data for internal and external clients in the UK and internationally.

We are looking to strengthen our team and we are currently recruiting for an Automation Specialist to join our market leading team in report automation using software to populate reports in PowerPoint or Excel, avoiding the need for manual data entry and increasing efficiency. We also have a strong desire to automate internal processes as well as streamlining as many tasks as we can. We have created a variety of different solutions to enable the research teams to add value to projects. Solutions range from API’s through to offline single use programs. We use internally developed solutions on a wide range of projects from small tracking studies to some of the company’s biggest accounts, involving the production of thousands of reports. We use powerful functionality allows us to manipulate data, perform calculations, apply formatting effects and graphics, and customise reports in a variety of other ways.

The Role:

You will be responsible for running automation projects that have been developed, to manage and ensure that the deliverables are to the highest standard.

  • Report automation delivery using specialist software (Full training provided)
  • Assist members of the team in developing other reporting solutions
  • Contribute to the development of existing reporting procedures
  • Lead on Data Delivery’s established Quality Control procedures

About you:

Working in the team, we are looking for someone who is very methodical in their approach, who can logically problem solve and step through given scenarios. You’ll need to have an understanding of automation and would be able to show where they you used it in previous roles/education.

Specifically, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Strong analytical skills and logical thinking and is numerate
  • Experience Market Research industry
  • Knowledge of VBA
  • Developer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
