Audit Senior job in a Blackburn based accountants ideally suited towards an ACCA/ACA Qualified accountant working in practice. Our accounting firm client would also consider applications from QBE accountants or candidates who have stopped their ACA or ACCA studies and not looking to recommence them.

This is an exciting time to join a growing, yet established accountancy firm located in Blackburn, Lancashire. This role would suit an Audit Senior with the ambition to progress to a managerial level in the future or an Audit Semi Senior looking for their first Audit Senior role.

The external audit department of this impressive accountancy firm possess a diverse client portfolio including Corporate Groups, SME’s, Not for Profit Organisations, Charities and academies. Our client is a well-respected and successful Blackburn accountancy firm with ambitious plans for growth backed by a formidable reputation.

The duties for the Audit Senior include:

  • Assisting in the management of a client portfolio, including development, project management and leading audits from planning through to completion stage
  • Assisting in the reviewing of audit files
  • Attending meetings with clients to discuss and finalise audited accounts
  • Leading, monitoring and developing Audit Juniors and Audit Semi Seniors on the audit projects

This role would suit an ambitious and effective career orientated Audit Senior who would relish the chance to work alongside an experienced audit team.
