ROLE OVERVIEW

FPSG, working in partnership with a leading and highly regarded CA firm, have an excellent opportunity to join our client based out of their Edinburgh office. Offering real autonomy and the opportunity to accelerate your career as part of a defined success plan, this position will see you undertake a diversified and interesting client portfolio to provide a wide range of audit and accounting services.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Working closely with the Senior Management team of this division, the main remit of this role will see you supervise, lead and in the longer term manage Audit teams on a variety of engagements.

Additional responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Utilise your strong technical expertise to liaise with client contacts and further develop these relationships.

  • Develop your soft skills by assisting with the development of junior members of the team to improve their technical capabilities.

  • Work closely with senior internal stakeholders.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Our client is keen to bring on board a professional currently working within an Audit environment from a Public Practice firm (i.e Audit Assistant, Audit Executive, Audit Senior etc.).

Additional requirements of the role include (but not limited to):

  • Ideally be fully qualified (ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW etc.) or be at the later stages of completing your qualification.

  • Strong communication skills is essential in addition to being a team orientated professional.
