Audit Senior (Film & TV)

Location: The City

Ref: 00003

One of the UK’s oldest accountancy firm which is older than ICAEW itself; have remained a prominent player in the accounting industry and shows no signs of stopping with increases in revenue in double digits in the last twelve months alone. The firm points the reason of its continued success to its people - it’s been named Britain’s Top Employers for every consecutive year since 2004 and have been awarded silver accreditation against the Investors in People Standard exhibiting its responsibility to high performance through good people management.

It’s not just a Top 20 firm, it’s a Top 20 firm that works with pretty much all the big names in film and television such as Universal Studios, Lucas Films, Disney/Marvel, Warner Bros, Paramount and the list goes on. Oh yes, the firm also offered specialist finance advice to the Game of Thrones production (but unfortunately it wasn’t part of their responsibility advising them to change the ending to GoT). In addition to auditing clients in film and television, you will also act for major video game publishers and developers.

This role will suit an Audit Senior from a top tier practice who possesses at least three years’ experience working in a 70%+ audit role. Apart from your typical audit and accounts responsibilities, you will be required to conduct specialist work specific to Film & TV such as preparing and auditing British film certifications, preparing valuations for film titles, film libraries and other intellectual properties, preparation and audit of funding applications and reports; among other duties. Although you won’t be required to have current experience of auditing clients in the film and television sector, you should have a strong interest for the industry.
