Our client, an established firm of Chartered Accountants, are seeking an Audit Manager to join their team in Southampton.

The Audit Manager role will involve dealing/managing with all aspects of audit and accounts work for a mixed portfolio of clients including agricultural, rural estates, family businesses and charities.

The position would be mainly compliance based, although there would be an element of advisory work with the portfolio, as well as assisting the directors on planning and wider aspects of those clients affairs.

The firm deal with around 50% agricultural clients, some commercial and some charities, with turnovers up to £60/70 Million.

They use IRIS, Sage, Xero and CCH.

You will ideally hold a professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA and have previous supervisory experience within practice.

The hours of work are 8.30-5.15 Monday to Thursday and 8.30 to 4.30 on Friday.
