Fantastic opportunity to join a national consumer focused and innovative Bank as their Audit Manager. This job is available due to an internal promotion within the firm.
Your new role
As the Audit Manager you will be mentoring a small team and supporting the Head of Audit in the development and delivery of the audit plan for the Banks Products, Distribution, Commercial Banking, Marketing, Legal and HR functions. You'll business partner with a portfolio of stakeholders, using your in-depth knowledge of Conduct Risk and Retail Banking to provide insights and promote improvement in the Banks risk and control environment. You'll lead and deliver large, complex or sensitive audits to high standards. You will be working in a close knit team with a collaborative attitude, taking pride in your work to achieve results and appreciate high values. You will only be required to travel 10% of your time to London and Bristol offices and once or twice a year to Edinburgh.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified IIA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent, with experience from within a Retail Banking or Insurance environment. You'll require a strong understanding of Conduct Risk and an ability to apply this to your audit work (understanding of Conduct Risk in Digital channels would be an advantage).
