Sage and Company are actively looking to recruit a Senior Accountant.
The firm are looking to appoint a qualified ACA / ACCA accountant. You will have trained within general practice and have a proven track record of undertaking statutory accounts and associated work as either a semi-senior or senior. We may consider applicants who can demonstrate they have the required skills but are qualified by experience. Audit experience would be most useful too.
You will be responsible for undertaking a range of accounting (and possibly audit) assignments for small and medium size businesses. This will involve the preparation of year-end financial statements, the preparation of corporation tax computations and returns, planning and overseeing statutory audits and supervising junior staff. You will also be responsible for the preparation of personal tax computations and the subsequent completion of the annual self-assessment tax returns.
The role will be client facing and you will enjoy are fair degree of responsibility; you will be competent and well organised and you must also be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills together with the ability to work autonomously.
You’ll work within a great team, alongside 5 experienced Partners and a wider team of over 20 professional and support staff and will be based in St Asaph Business Park. You’ll receive excellent peer support and the senior team will encourage your career development through skills and knowledge development.
