My client have been servicing clients all across South Wales for over 50 years and have had continued success and growth during that time. They have a background that includes a lot more Audit clients than a firm of their size usually would and have a specific department dealing with this. As Audit / Accounts Manager you would hold a key role in the team and firm as a whole.
Your new role
You will come in to the firm as Audit / Accounts Manager, responsible for the audits of a large portfolio of clients. You will plan and oversee Audits for teams of up to 4 on site, handle all client interaction and review the process to ensure any disclosures and amendments have been put in place. This role is highly client focused but you will also be expected to provide support and knowledge to Junior members of staff. There is an element of utilising your knowledge within Accounts Preparation also, due to the cyclical nature of Audit, and you will have a portfolio of some of the more high profile Accounts clients which you will manage
In time, you will be part of the group that success the current Senior Management Team, giving you the opportunity to hold Partner status and control the Audit function.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience of running audits yourself, including having responsibility for a small team. Ideally ACA qualified, you should present yourself as a credible Partner of a well known, forward thinking Practice.
