Reporting to Partner level, you will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients, which you will be expected to manage through building client relationships and keeping open lines of communication.
Ideally you will have strong experience to cover responsibilities in the following areas:
Knowledge of International Auditing Standards & FRS 102
Business plans/forecasts on Excel
IRIS or Sage experience
Managing a portfolio of clients (value around £500-600k), developing a good relationship with them, understanding their requirements, monitoring work-in progress against internal budgets and agreed fees, billing and keeping the client partner aware of status and issues.
Liaising with the clients on all aspects of the audit or accounts and to be the main point of contact for any ad hoc queries.
Job planning, supervision and finalisation.
Planning the audit work and implementing that plan, identifying key issues and staffing requirements for audits.
Preparing and finalising statutory accounts.
Acting as an ambassador for the firm, to build up contacts and develop new business opportunities.
Attending external and internal meetings.
Working as a team with other managers.
Coaching and developing junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
Assisting partners and staff in quoting for new work, including identifying specification and time costs involved.
Applicants must be fully qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent, extremely articulate, proactive and presentable.
You should have strong knowledge and experience in dealing with FRS102.
You'll be quick learner who is able to communicate well with clients and staff of all levels
