Association Events Officer

They are now looking for an Event Officer to join their highly social and supportive team to deliver a broad portfolio of events, with end-to-end involvement.
The responsibilities of this role will include:
- Managing virtual and live events from concept to delivery
- Acting as key contact for internal partners and external stakeholders
- Sourcing speakers and managing logistical needs
- Organising event requirements including catering, AV, technology platforms, etc.
- Researching and booking suitable venues
- Managing online software for delegate registrations
- Organising support staff and volunteers, including scheduling and briefing
- Delivering events onsite
- Managing event budgets
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing both live and virtual events end-to-end. Any experience working within an academic or membership association would be beneficial but isn’t a pre-requisite. The candidate will also have a high level of organisation skills and the ability to prioritise their own time effectively.
