What we do:
Since 2001, we have been building relationships across the strategy landscape, taking on permanent and contract engagements from entry to director level within consulting, investment & private equity firms, major corporates and high-growth start-ups.
We advise on hiring strategies, scheme development, project design and individual career journeys. As thought leaders in the strategy space, we curate an annual programme of dinners, breakfasts, networking and informal drinks evenings and high-profile speaker events.
Client-side our network typically comprises managers, directors and C-Suite while on the candidate side we work predominantly with management and strategy consultants, industry specialists and those in the earlier stages of their career who have exceptional commercial, analytical and communications skills: what we call 'the consulting skillset.’
Our approach is highly consultative. We listen, advise and build trust from the off and we devote a great deal of time and energy to maintaining and developing personal, long-term relationships and strategic partnerships across the network: many of our clients later become candidates and many candidates return to us as clients.
The Associate role:
From Associate to Team Head, there are parallel career paths for Consultants, who focus on client development and management (there’s no candidate sourcing), and Candidate Managers, who source, advise and coach our candidates.
As Associates, we’re looking for people right at the start / in the early stages of their career. Whether you join as an Associate Consultant or Candidate Manager, we’ll help you to get up to speed on the nuts and bolts of strategy consulting alongside structured training in the Freshminds methodology of relationship initiation, management, and development.
You’ll then move on to building, managing and developing your own client or candidate relationships: booking and running meetings; taking and delivering on briefs; advising on hiring needs and career journeys and project managing processes from end to end.
We're looking for people who balance balance excellent business development habits and experience with a talent for strategic account building. You'll need to be insatiably curious, target-driven and passionate about delivering exceptional quality and excited by collaborative working and team success.
