Their wide variety of projects range from private homes and housing developments to retail parks, town centre regeneration's and major hospital redevelopments. They work on temporary, new and historic structures, including some of the UK's most important old buildings. Due to a number of significant project wins in the pipeline for 2018, they are looking to expand and strengthen their structures team in London.
Your new role
In your new role as an associate structural engineer you will be required to work as the lead on a wide variety of projects in the aforementioned sectors. You will lead a small team of engineers on projects, from the design stages to completion. You will be required to liaise with clients, lead design meetings and also attend site when necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a Masters degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or similar and will be Chartered (IStructE or ICE). It is important to have a demonstrable experience of competency in the use Auto-CAD. Excellent written and verbal skills is a necessity for effective communication with the internal team and for developing external relationships with clients. Ultimately, you will be extremely motivated and determined to enhance your career within a Structural Engineering environment.
