Associate Planner | Nottingham | National Town Planning Consultancy
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 pa + excellent benefits
A well respected independent town planning consultancy with multiple offices across the UK are seeking to appoint an Associate Town Planner to the growing team in Nottingham City Centre.
The role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to manage a wide and diverse range of client instructions. Although the role will be predominantly development management based, it will also provide opportunities for the undertaking of plan promotion, EiP, public inquiry work and informal hearings.
The position will include managing external consultants and mentoring junior staff and offers a high degree of client interface and networking. You will work in conjunction with senior staff and on your own to engage in a range of development plan/policy and development management projects, EiP and public inquiry work.
The successful applicant will be able to manage competing demands on their time and prioritise tasks for themselves and others. They will need to have a flexible attitude towards working, be self-motivated and have a good team working ethic, be self-assured and confident, and enjoy the prospect of developing their own client base and making a real contribution to the prosperity of the Company and themselves.
