Associate FP&A Analyst

The Associate FP&A Analyst is responsible for supporting the annual planning and rolling forecast cycles for the CEB TA Business and providing analysis and insight on the business performance against those plans with regular and timely reporting. This position is critical for the Business to develop and manage robust and deliverable commercial plans and hold commercial leaders in the CEB TA business accountable to those plans. To be successful in the role, the Associate FP&A Analyst will need to have a high attention to detail and be able to informatively present and communicate information, outside of the task orientated accountabilities outlined below.

Key Accountabilities:

Planning

o Supporting the FP&A Manager with the build and roll-out the commercial planning models to the local country managing directors, in accordance with the annual planning timetable.

o Support the local country MD’s in accurately modelling their plans through analytical review of their plans.

o Supporting the FP&A Manager with the annual cost budget and quarterly cost forecast cycle for the CEB TA commercial business. Ensuring accurate and timely loading of data into Hyperion in accordance with the planning timetables.

Cost Control

o Support the month end cost reporting process for the CEB TA Commercial business. Ensuring that commentary is meaningful and action oriented.

o Responsible for inputting all headcount sign off (RTH’s) related to the CEB TA commercial teams into Oracle Taleo.

o Other Ad-hoc cost analysis as required.

Bookings

o Becoming familiar with the concept and CEB TA internal policies regarding contract Bookings.

o Support the FP&A manager in carrying out the validation of the monthly bookings result and working with the Booking Team to resolve any mis-statement.

Other

o Building relationships with all stakeholders both internal (to the team) and external, fostering the culture of open relationships and of playing the role of key Business Partner

o Constant review and Challenge to all existing processes, identifying processes that are either redundant or open to improvement and auctioning those changes autonomously.

Knowledge/Skills/Professional Requirements:

Experience

• Degree Educated in a Finance related field

• Recent Starter or Part-Qualified Accountant with a recognised professional accounting body (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

• Desirable to have 1-2 years previous experience in a Finance role.

Skills:

• Experience using MS Excel (and other MS Office products)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Commercial mindset
