Associate Director

To manage the development of client relationships in order to achieve maximum profitability and to generate new opportunities for business development within the Business Group and within Colliers International.

Main Responsibilities

  • To recognise and exploit business development opportunities from clients
  • To ensure that cross-selling opportunities are identified and shared between the group
  • To manage and develop client relationship (both current and potential) in a proactive and professional manner

  • To utilise the CRM system in order to manage, monitor and report on client relationships, including the sharing of knowledge and development or strategic business opportunities
  • To meet financial targets (both income and expenditure) within the Business Group Budget
  • To encourage, develop and consult with people within the Business Group to ensure that expectations are understood
  • To encourage the review and development of current work and to increase awareness between all team members
  • To produce reports and recommendations concerning the marketing and sales strategies to then discuss with senior management, setting out the strategy to meet the team’s targets.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Required

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Must possess excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Must possess excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Must posses very good project management skills
  • Must possess sound IT skills, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Must be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Must possess very good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess sound financial management skills
  • Must be results orientated
  • Must be able to "think outside the box" so that new opportunities can be exploited
  • Must have a minimum of 18 months proven experience in the Midtown and South Bank Markets
  • Must possess a relevant Bachelor’s degree
  • Must possess in depth knowledge of the commercial property market, its operators, demands and short, medium and long terms needs.
  • Must have some experience of leading a team of professionals
  • Must have experience in dealing with property acquisitions
  • Must have experience in dealing with lease renewals and regears and lease surrender negotiations
