My client are a professional services and investment management firm, specialising in real estate. The company help organisations globally achieve their ambitions by owning, occupying and investing in real estate.
They are a fortune 500 company, working across 80 countries in multiple offices with a team of over 70,000 individuals.
They act across several sectors within the UK, operating in Landmark projects, in particular their Project Management division in the West Midlands, specialising in construction, where this particular vacancy sits.
Your new role
My client have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director / Senior Project Manager to join their West Midlands Project Management team where you will be heavily involved in various stages of commercial new build projects, ranging from £5m - £25. You will be reporting into the Director, with the capacity to run projects immediately.
The role involves but not limited to; leading day to day delivery of projects for funds, developers & occupiers, select, appoint and manage design teams in the development of design and planning applications, administering complex building contracts, ensuring compliance of contractors to the contract terms and conditions, assisting with the compilation of tender documents & contract negotiations, manage client relationships throughout the project cycle and business development.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally the successful candidate will be MRICS chartered or similarly related project management qualification.
You will also have a strong background in the delivery of new build commercial and significant refurbishment projects. It is also essential that you have proven track record of success, delivering medium to large scale projects (£5m - £25m). The candidate must have strong ICT skills and be competent in Excel, project and outlook. You must also be a good communicator and have excellent relationship building skills with the ability to delegate and act swiftly when needed.
