We are offering the opportunity to join Matchtech's hugely successful engineering technology division, as part of their very cool automotive technology team in our stunning, new Thames side London office.

The division have uniquely positioned themselves in the evolving and exciting space between traditional engineering and IT technology. We have been delivering niche Electronics, Software and Systems skills to the defence, aerospace, automotive and consumer electronics market for over 25 years and the team are busier than ever. The division pride themselves on a successful culture built around a strong team ethos -staff are trusted and valued and expected to do the job with a smile on their faces!

The Automotive technology arm of the division are looking for a hardworking, strong communicator with previous telephone sales or customer service experience. As a candidate research specialist, you will be tasked with building our UK and European talent pools and candidate networks-This will be achieved through job boards, Linkedin searches and canvassing in-house database, working closely with the consultants to deliver niche resource to our very mature and established Automotive customer base in the UK and Europe. You'll be working on some really cutting edge projects and areas of the market, including

  • Connected cars
  • Autonomous vehicles
  • Hybrid and electrical development
  • Body electronics

Training will be provided, but the successful consultant will need to be a quick learner, tenacious,have the ability to work independently and show a confident phone manner - helping shape and taking ownership of the team's critical candidate attraction strategy.

We're looking for someone to prove themselves in this key aspect of the role with the view in 12 months time to developing the position in to a full billing consultant role - this position has proved to be a fantastic training ground for some of best consultants.
