Flexible Base Location (but able to work in either Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Inverness office regularly)

The Associate Adviser will be responsible for assisting the Assistant Director in the production of modules for the Practice Based Small Group Learning (PBSGL) programme within CPD Connect. They will also have responsibility for participation in PBSGL Facilitator training and other CPD Connect and NES educational activities.

This post is for 2 sessions per week and the base location is negotiable, however the postholder would have a requirement to work regularly from NES offices.

You should be medically qualified with a background in Primary Care. You will have understanding of, and experience in modern CPD methods and resources including PBSGL, learning needs assessment and learning evaluation. Reporting to the Assistant Director of General Practice Education (Continuing Professional Development) you should have excellent communication and organisational skills.

The post is permanent, subject to annual review. The salary will be based on the GP educator’s scale.
