Are you a passionate and ambitious Assistant Town Planner looking to progress your career with one of London's most respected planning consultancies? Our client - a market-leading, independent firm renowned for delivering high-profile projects across London and the South East - is seeking a motivated planner to join their growing team.

The Role

You'll support a team of experienced planning professionals on a diverse portfolio of projects spanning residential, commercial, mixed-use, and regeneration schemes. From the outset, you'll gain exposure to all stages of the planning process - from site appraisals and research to preparing planning statements and assisting with client engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake planning research, policy analysis, and site assessments

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals

  • Draft planning statements, design and access statements, and other supporting documentation

  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and consultants

  • Contribute to team discussions and help shape strategy on key projects

About You
  • Degree (and ideally a postgraduate qualification) in Town Planning or related discipline

  • Working towards (or recently achieved) RTPI membership

  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills

  • A proactive and organised approach with keen attention to detail

  • Passionate about shaping sustainable and well-designed places
