This is a fantastic opportunity to work as an Assistant Team Manager Occupational Therapist within Dudley Borough Council. You will be joining a well-structured and dynamic team in Adult Social Services, you will be responsible and carry out all management accountabilities. You will have responsibilities for a group of qualified and unqualified staff who carry out assessments to meet individual needs which could result in prescribing equipment to aide daily living, progressing an Adaptation through the disability facilities grant, working with individuals and carers who maybe experiencing issues around moving and handling.

Main duties include;

  • Supervising senior Occupational Therapists
  • The Assessment of adults and children with complex needs resulting from physical disability or illness
  • Major adaptations design, specialist equipment, assessment and legislation
  • Moving and handling
  • Progressing adaptations through the DFG'

To be Successful;

Our Client has requested that the successful candidate has previous experience as an Assistant Team Manager within the Social Care Setting. The successful candidate will have experience of Supervising, Manual Handling, Major Adaptations, Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you). The candidate must be HCPC registered with a full OT Qualification.
