Aurora Resourcing are looking for an experienced Senior Social worker to take on an exciting new Locum position based in South Devon.We're looking for a Full Time Assistant Team Manager to join a children's initial response team. The contract is for 3-6 months but will likely be needed for longer.Duties as follows: • Assistant Team Managers (ATM's)will work with Team Managers to ensure effective running of the social work team to include oversight and quality assurance• They will have a specific role with students, newly qualified and transition social workers supporting them through:• A well planned and effective induction with clear outcomes identified for their development throughout the placement/ period using the Knowledge and Skills self-assessment.• High levels of supervision Ensuring caseloads are at a suitable level and complexity×Joint working where necessary and to ensure good level of practice Modelling SW Practice -e.g.-joint visits & assessments; meetings which could include -chairing / attending strategy meetings to include complex / specialist case issues and attending Legal Planning meetings Enabling Students, NQSW's/ Transition SW's and unqualified workers to build positive and wide-ranging experience and confidence.Both challenging and rewarding, this role offers a fantastic rate per hour of £42 an hour.
