My client, an established Housing Developer is looking to hire an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a project based in Essex.

This is a project that consists of 35 units of 2-4 bed homes.

Assistant Site Managers duties to include:

  • No2 on site, whilst reporting directly into the Site Manager
  • Supporting the Site Managers whilst running the site on a daily basis
  • Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme and addressing any issues to the project lead
  • Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
  • Ensuring the development pass internal and external inspection processes
  • Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to
  • Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
  • Monitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to sub-contractors


  • Must have volume new build experience
  • Trade background
  • Has a positive and ambitious outlook on their work
  • CSCS
  • First Aid
