Assistant Site Manager

There is an immediate requirement for an assistant site manager to join a leading national homebuilder on a full time/ Permanent basis. Reporting to the site manager, the successful individual will be required to assist in the day to day running of the site & when required, deputise for the site manager, effectively motivating, supporting and managing all areas of the construction site.

Successful applicants will need a strong background in residential construction and hold all relevant tickets including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.

Typical duties will include, but are not limited to;
*Assist with the preparation of the master build programme
*Conduct regular checks to ensure the build programme requirements are met
*Ensure compliance with the company's health and safety policy
*Maintain all statutory records on a daily/weekly basis as required
*Ensure the all staff, including sub-contractors and visitors are correctly inducted
*Carry out service visits, pre-occupation checks and home demonstrations
*Participate in daily meetings, prioritising workloads
*Checking of materials
*Complete PPQA checklists on a weekly basis
*Thoroughly inspect and snag each plot prior to each stage inspection carried out by the NHBC

To be successful in the role it is assumed you will possess the following skills and attributes. However, candidates who feel they have the correct transferable experience are encouraged to apply:

*Educated to GCSE standard in Maths and English
*Appropriate CSCS card
*Full UK driving license
*Minimum 2 years' experience working for a residential house builder
*Able to work with others to achieve the desired outcome
*Capable of implementing change and of using initiative
*Confident outlook combined with resilience and diplomacy
*Able to manage conflict with the ability to handle complaints and difficult situations
*Excellent organizational skills
*Able to demonstrate a collaborative and pragmatic approach to problem solving
*A commitment to work as required to meet the needs of the business
*Able to travel to different sites on a regular basis
