The Role

Fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager with one of the UK’s largest residential developers based on one of their long term projects in Bishops Stortford. Best known for their large scale and high specification developments, our client are keen to find an exuberant Assistant Site Manager with a professional site mentality and able to manage expectations practically and shrewdly.

The ideal applicant will have an excellent finishing background, ideally working with larger scale projects previously. This new traditional build site requires someone who has experience overseeing 1st & 2nd fixes, snagging and customer care, whilst also having a good way of building and maintaining relationships with sub-contractors. Good IT skills essential and offers proven experience of maintaining an excellent working environment on part occupied sites.

Our client are able to develop sites that provide private and affordable housing, on land owned or controlled by the Group. Successful candidates with have a good work ethic and ability to handover only when expected standards are met. There is fantastic opportunity for progression with developments expected until 2027, with 18,000 new homes across the region on multiple different sites ongoing. The successful candidate will be based at 1 main site and working with an excellent Senior Site Manager. Longevity of work and excellent progression options are a massive plus with this opportunity.

Required Certificates:

  • CSCS
  • SMSTS/SSSTS
  • Full 1st Aid training
  • Circa £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary depending on level of experience
  • Company car or car allowance of £4000 per annum
  • 12% annual bonus
